Roundhouse Turntable Plaza Celebration – May 20 2012

Free admission to a celebration filled with aerial dance performances, a brass band, public art project, kids’ activities, cake, and a historical video screening. You can even climb aboard Engine 374…choo! choo!

This event is for the opening of the Turntable Plaza (a new outdoor public and community performance space), the 125th anniversary of the arrival of Engine 374 into Vancouver, and the 15th anniversary of the Roundhouse Community Centre.

12:30pm Little Mountain Brass Band, Under the Canopy
1:00pm Official Ceremony, Under the Canopy
1:30pm Let’s Eat Cake!, Engine 374 Pavilion
2:00pm Firebelly Track in the Sky/Travelling (20 min), Under the Canopy
2:30pm Ghost Mapping the Roundhouse Tour, Meet at Engine 374 Pavilion
3:00pm Firebelly Steam Rising (10 min), Under the Canopy
3:30pm Firebelly Think You Can Wait (6 min), Under the Canopy

Parking is limited, so be sure to get there early or bike, walk, or take transit.
